PA0758 Lumberjack Logger List Control
Client list logging (2)
Program: PA0758
A list with the name Client supports Client logging. A network
frame of device names, timestamps, and floating point values are
sent from any Acnet connected client to a datalogger. If a sent
name matches a name in a Client list, the value is logged.
Status returns to the client inform the client of problems.
An example of Client logging is ERRORS logging. Statistics are
accumulated in ERRORS on bandwidth, errors, etc. These buckets
are zeroed every ten minutes. Just before clearing, ERRORS
sends the data to the STATS datalogger. So, only full bucket
values are recorded in the datalogger - a much easier goal to
be accomplished by the client than the datalogger.
