PA0758 Lumberjack Logger List Control

                                                                
  Soft event collection is limited to no faster than 
once per second. Generally one should choose the 'either' 
form of a clock event.  If the front-end supports collection 
on clock event, the data will be sampled on a 'hard' event.  
If not, on a 'soft' event.  Clock event plus delay is sampled 
'softly', since delays are not supported in the Retdat/Setdat 
protocol.
