cmu_connect

	status.i4.v = cmu_connect(mailbox_name.i1a.r [,sender.i1a.r] 
				  [,receive_func.f.v])

	This routine establishes a communication path for you to send or
	receive messages from a mailbox.
   		
	mailbox_name	mailbox name (CMU_NAMLEN characters)
			You should take care to make this name unique.
			It's suggested to embed your PA or SA name in
			this string.  Use all CMU_NAMLEN characters and
			do not use any blanks.
	[sender]	name the receiver gets as the sender of the message
			(CMU_NAMLEN characters). If not specified the string,
			"'mailbox_name'_alias", is used.
	[receive_func]	address of AST routine to be called when you receive
			mail. If not specified, it's up to you to read 
			messages with 'cmu_read'. (default is NULL)

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	CMU_DUPCON		already connected to this mailbox
	CMU_MEMFAIL		error in allocating dynamic memory
	CMU_EXQUO		exceeded process' byte limit quota
	CMU_SYSERR		Unix system error
