	status.i4.v = dio_can_read_using_snapshot_c(device_indices.i4a.r,
						    properties.i2a.r,
						    can_snapshots.i4a.r,
						    snap_classes.i4a.r,
						    errors.i2a.r
						    [,num_devices.i4.v])

	This routine determines whether or not a device or a list of
	devices can be read as a snapshot buffer of values.

	device_indices	device index or array of device indices
	properties	list of property indices (If the first value is less
			than zero, all devices will be submitted with the
			same property.  The property value used will be the
			absolute value of this argument.)
			(constants are in dbprops)
	can_snapshots	returned snapshot capability or array of returned
			capabilities
			(TRUE -> device can be read via a snapshot,
			 FALSE -> device cannot be read via a snapshot,
			 DIO_INVALID_DATA -> error occurred in reading data)
	snap_classes	returned snapshot class code(s) (constants are in 'ftp')
	errors		returned error status or array of errors
	[num_devices]	number of devices (default is 1)

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	DIO_MEMFAIL		memory allocation failure
	negative value		ACNET format error indicating overall failure
	positive value		number of devices in error indicating partial
				success
