	status.i4.v = dio_dev_text(device_indices.i4a.r, text.i1a.r,
				   errors.i2a.r [,num_devices.i4.r]
				   [,options.u4.r])

	status.i4.v = dio_dev_text_c(device_indices.i4a.r, text.i1a.r,
				     errors.i2a.r [,num_devices.i4.v]
				     [,options.u4.v])

	This routine returns the device descriptive text for a device.
	If "num_devices" is specified, text for a list of devices can be
	retrieved.

	device_indices	device index or array of device indices
	text		returned device text
			(DEVICE_DESCRIPTION_LEN or DEVICE_FULL_DESCRIPTION_LEN
			 characters per device (depending on whether short or
			 full descriptions are requested) (Note: Add one more
			 character per entry if null terminated strings
			 are requested.))
			(A value of NULL can be passed for this argument if
			 only caching of the text information is desired.)
	errors		returned ACNET status value or array of status values
	[num_devices]	number of devices (default is 1)
	[options]	descriptive text retrieval options
			(DIO_TEXT_OPT_NONE -> no options selected,
			 DIO_TEXT_OPT_ALLOW_OBSOLETE -> want text for obsoleted
							and deleted devices,
			 DIO_TEXT_OPT_FULL_TEXT -> retrieve the full
						   descriptive text,
			 DIO_TEXT_OPT_NULL_TERMINATE -> return null terminated
							strings)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	OK			success
	DIO_BADARG		invalid number of devices passed
	DIO_MEMFAIL		memory allocation failure
	negative value		ACNET format error indicating overall failure
	positive value		number of devices in error indicating partial
				success
