dio_madc_num_channels_c

	status.i4.v = dio_madc_num_channels_c(madc_number.i4.v, node.i4.v,
					      num_channels.i4.r
					      [,max_channel.i4.r])

	This routine returns the number of channels for an MADC.

	madc_number	MADC index number
	node		MADC front end node (constants are in 'nodedefs')
	num_channels	returned number of MADC channels
	[max_channel]	returned maximum channel in use
			(default is NULL)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	OK			success
	DIO_BADARG		unsupported front end node
	DIO_MEMFAIL		memory allocation failure
	DIO_NO_SUCH		MADC doesn't exist
	SQL_xxx			error reading MADC channel info
