srmod DEPRECATED

	status.i4.v = srmod(device_index.i4.r, property_index.i1.r,
			    file_number.i2.r, work_area.i1a.r,
			    retrieval_index.i2.r, data.i1a.r, error.i2.r,
			    length.i2.r [,offset.i2.r])

	This routine adds a request to modify a device/property in the
	specified Save/Restore system log file.

	device_index	device index
	property_index	property index
	file_number	system file number to be modified
	work_area	Save/Restore work area array initialized by srwain call
	retrieval_index retrieval index (returned from call to srreq or
			srdir)
	data		unprocessed data to be transmitted
	error		standard ACNET error/success return
	length		number of bytes to be modified
	[offset]	byte offset.  Default is zero.

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	SAV_RST_NOTYET		invalid data source for modification
	SAV_RST_ILLEN		invalid length
	SAV_RST_ILWORK		invalid work area
	SAV_RST_NSFL		no such file number
	SAV_RST_WORK_FULL	request failed
	SAV_RST_xxx		save/restore error
