str_remove_eol_characters_c

	num_remaining.i4.v = str_remove_eol_characters_c(string.i1a.r,
							 length.i4.v
							 [,fill_char.i1.v])

	This routine will remove any end of line characters from a string.
	If any characters are removed, the modified string will be padded
	with "fill_char" characters.

	string		string to remove characters from
	length		length of string  (If this argument has a value
			of zero, the routine will determine the length
			of the string.)
	[fill_char]	string padding character
			(default is 0)

	This function returns status values as follows:

	CLIB_INVARG		invalid length passed
	otherwise		number of remaining characters
