	status.i4.v = tds7000_get_string_c(connect_info.g.v,
					   command_string.i1a.r,
					   max_return.i4.v,
					   data_string.i1a.r)

	This routine retrieves the ID string for a TDS7000 series scope.

	connect_info	scope connection structure created by a
			prior call to scope_connect
	command_string	null terminated command string
	max_return	maximum number of characters to return
	data_string	returned null-terminated data string

	This function returns ACNET status values as follows:

	OK			success
	CLIB_INVARG		invalid connection information passed
	CLIB_GENERIC_ERROR	error accessing scope information
	otherwise		other ACNET error
