t_link_hardware_stat (ul_tecar)


   Synopsis:

      This function is called to read the link errors from TECAR.

   Arguments:

      Input - readonly:

         TECAR_server	a character string which contains the Internet
                        name of the TECAR server. This name must be
                        resolvable via the Domain Name Service.
			This may be passed either as a pointer to a
		        null-terminated string, or by descriptor
			(under VMS only).


      Current - writeonly:

         output         structure of 8 int integers
                         TECAR-QPM Link Hardware Status:
                            link id
                            single transmit mode
                            data error interrupt
                            link broken
                            data error
                            transmit fifo not emptied
                            transmit fifo over half full
                            recieve fifo over half full
