Toward the ILC:

A Fermilab Community School on R&D Challenges and Opportunities

July 25-27, 2007, Fermilab, Batavia, IL

Purpose/Objective: educate the Fermilab staff and user community on the International Linear Collider and its associated R&D program.  A series of short structured training seminars are designed to educate the non-specialist on the ILC design and motivate the ongoing R&D program.  Many R&D challenges exist and provide exciting opportunities for participation by university groups and lab staff.  The overall goal of this school is to improve the knowledge and skills of our user community on ILC issues and to encourage active engagement in the ILC R&D program.
